“Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once we grow up.” —Pablo Picasso
Working alone, at home, or in our creative studios can feel isolating even for the introvert. Have you ever felt in need of connection or a little encouragement during the day?
Connection for Creative Well-Being
Having an artist community that you can easily tap into can spark creativity when inspiration lags. This is why I created a Facebook community for daily art practice. The idea of creating a safe space for creatives to engage in a supportive online environment came to mind when COVID-19 struck our lifestyles.
It’s a perfect interface for meeting and connecting with like-minded creators, and interacting is easy and fun.
Anyone has the freedom to share their creative work, or maybe they want to brainstorm ideas or tools to help other artists.
Inspiration comes in so many forms, and all mediums and creativity-related posts are welcome. The idea is to grow the community with your friends limping along without support. The Short and the Long
There are very few limits to what and how you can share! I have been sharing art tips, links to free art lessons, artist references, my art, and I love to highlight other artists.
Members can leave comments on any post and additional information and/or encouragement, and insights. I feel it’s a simple and effective opportunity to build a solid creative community. I also want to have a lot more fun with other creators and makers.
Since Daily Art Practice and Sharing Group is a private group, you’ll feel more confident to share your ideas. You’ll only be interacting with supportive and kind people who want to engage in loving community.
It’s Easy to Get Started; just ask to join!
Also, it’s worth mentioning that if you’ve had bad experiences with social networking and Facebook, our private group is so non threatening but it is a Meta environment.
I do hope you give sharing a try! A few minutes a day connecting with like-minded creators could be that positive spark for your creative spirit.
